of East Tennessee, proud member agency of the oldest and largest youth mentoring organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, serves greater Knoxville and the Tri-Cities.
Our purpose is simple, but powerful – to create lasting community change by providing adult mentors for the children who need them the most. Our work is donor supported and volunteer driven.

Amachi ProgramWithout intervention, children with a parent in prison are seven times more likely to end up in jail. You can provide a powerful remedy to help reverse this statistic. |

Community ProgramHelping wash the family dogs, passing on your famous chocolate chip recipe [and taste testing, of course], going to the park, or watching the latest flick – is all it takes to make a difference. |

School ProgramFor up to an hour each week, you can visit your Little’s school to help with homework in the library, eat lunch in the cafeteria, or play kickball on the playground. |
