Think back to when you were a child between the ages 6 and 15. Now, think about who you turned to for advice and encouragement. Did you turn to an older sister or brother? Maybe you went to a neighbor, a teacher or even a coach. Are there times when you cannot recall having someone to confide in and trust? That is where Big Brothers Big Sisters comes in.

We offer positive adult role models who children know they can count on, confide in, and have a great time with. There are many challenges that children will face, and depending on their situation, they may not have someone to take them out in the community and spend time with them. With a little help from a Big Brother or Big Sister each child can have the opportunity to experience the many things their surroundings can offer.

4 Steps to Becoming a Big

1. Contact BBBS Customer Relations to obtain information, application and schedule orientation training.

2. Attend orientation (Orientation should last approxmitaly 1 1/2 hours)

3. Personal interview with BBBS Staff

4. Match meeting – Meet your Little
