Bowl for Kids’ Sake, presented by EdFinancial, is the largest annual fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee. More than 1,400 community members will come together to raise money to mentor area children. Every dollar raised will provide disadvantaged children with a caring adult friend. Last year we provided 770 children with the guidance, friendship and fun of a Big Brother or Sister. With your help we will reach our goal of touching the lives of even more children over the next year.

This event is FUN FOR EVERYONE whether you have never bowled or are a self-proclaimed KINGPIN; you can help ensure children have positive role-models through Big Brothers Big Sisters. Just get together a team of coworkers, family or friends. Raise a little money and make a BIG difference.

The Big KnoxVenture Race, presented by Pilot, is a team-based race through downtown Knoxville that uses the physical and mental strength of participants to creatively complete different challenges at stops along the course. A fun and interactive competition, KnoxVenture benefits the Sports Buddies program of Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee to partner children and mentors together who share a common interest.

Each year HOT 104.5-FM DJ Joey Tack and Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee team up for ‘Tack Gives Back’ Radiothon. During this live broadcast at the West Town Mall, Tack and special guests ask listeners to support Big Brothers Big Sisters by serving as mentors or by donating to the organization. Tack spotlights a few of the children who are currently waiting to be matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister and conducts live interviews with Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteers. With each match costing $1,000 a year, Tack Gives Back makes a big impact by helping to recruit volunteers and to raise the funds necessary to match some of these children in need.
